Geography

Flora and Fauna

Most of the forests of the park is in perfect condition. The main forest types are evergreen forest, Evergreen Forest Hill, deciduous, dry dipterocarp forest and savanna. Some important species of trees in the park are Hopea odorata Roxb., Anisoptera glabra, Mangifera. Tectona grandis, Xylia kerri Pterocarpus macrocarpus, Shorea obtusa, Shorea siamensis obtusifolius and Dipterocarpus. There are also different types of bamboo and medicinal plants.

There are a number of wild animals and birds in the park. There are several well known and is believed to have animals in the park banteng, deer, bears, blacks Asian wild boars, monkeys, gibbons, Serov, and squirrels. There are also various types of migratory birds such as blackbirds hills Orioles Brown, Bart, laughing thrushes, partridges Chinese higher Coucal, robins, owls, hawks, kingfishers, woodpeckers, swallows, birds of the jungle, red and common Koel.
